| Step #9... In the "Internet Accounts" window, click on the "Mail Tab" at
the top of the window...
NOTE: If you do not have mail.up-link.net - but you do have something like up-link.net,
or up-link, then highlight that listing. Go to Step #10.
If you do not have anything that says "up-link" here, or if you want to ADD a NEW e-mail
account, then go to Step #9a.
If you're not adding a new account, then go to Step #10. |

| Step #9a... ADD a NEW e-mail account...
Click Add... then Mail...then answer the questions that the
"Wizard" asks you... then go to Step #10. |

| Step #10... E-mail Properties - "General Tab"
Fill in the Name section with your name or nickname.
You can fill in, or leave the Organization blank.
E-mail Address: put your e-mail address here.
Make sure that bottom box is checked!
Next, click on the "Servers Tab". |

Where it says Incoming mail (POP3):
This should have mail.up-link.net in the box.
Where it says Outgoing mail (SMTP):
This one should also read mail.up-link.net
Where it says Incoming Mail Server Account name:
Type in your up-link login/user name.
(NOT your entire e-mail address.)
Where it says Password:
Type the Password that you use to dial in to get connected.
Where it says Outgoing Mail Server:
Leave the "My Server requires authentication" box, Unchecked
Finally click on the Connection tab. |

Check Always connect to this account using
Select Up-Link Internet from the pull down menu.
Press OK (NOT Add), then the Close button. |

your e-mail settings and/or setting up a e-mail account!
If you want to set up another e-mail account, please go back up to Step #9a above and repeat
the steps listed. |
